1. Who we are
ChurchHub is a software product developed and operated by Stan Jay Solutions in Ghana.
This policy explains how ChurchHub and Stan Jay Solutions handle account information and the organisational records processed through the service.
ChurchHub is a software product developed and operated by Stan Jay Solutions in Ghana.
We collect account details, authentication and session information, support communications, service usage and the organisational records users are authorised to enter into ChurchHub.
Information is used to perform the service agreement, provide requested functions, secure and support ChurchHub, communicate service information, prevent abuse, protect legitimate operational interests, respond to consent choices where applicable and meet legal obligations. The relevant basis depends on the relationship, information and jurisdiction.
The church or organisation using ChurchHub generally controls the personal information entered into its workspace. ChurchHub and Stan Jay Solutions process that information to provide the service.
Organisational records may include names, contact details, membership information, ministry involvement, attendance, communication preferences and other fields configured by an authorised administrator.
ChurchHub may process giving, income, expense, pledge, budget and supporting audit information for the organisation. Access is governed by organisation roles and permissions.
ChurchHub uses Django-owned account services for registration, password authentication, verification, recovery and session tokens. Google sign-in, when enabled, is linked through the same ChurchHub account authority. Passwords are stored only as secure password hashes; plaintext passwords are never retained.
Authentication and essential browser storage are used to maintain sessions, protect requests and remember workspace preferences. Optional analytics or marketing storage is not currently used on the public site. The Cookie Notice and footer preferences explain the current categories.
ChurchHub may rely on specialist providers including Vercel for web hosting and managed PostgreSQL, object-storage, email and identity-verification infrastructure configured for the service. Providers receive only the access needed to deliver their part of the service; this policy will be updated when material subprocessors change.
ChurchHub uses encrypted transport, organisation and branch scoping, server-enforced permissions, audit history and restricted operational access. Suspected incidents are investigated and affected customers or authorities are notified where the applicable agreement or law requires it. No online service can promise absolute security.
Records are retained while required to provide the service, meet the organisation's instructions, preserve legitimate audit history or satisfy legal obligations. Retention can vary by record type and agreement.
Users should first contact their organisation administrator to access, correct or request an export of organisation-controlled records. Account and platform enquiries can be sent to Stan Jay Solutions. Requests may require identity, authority and scope verification before information is released.
Deletion requests are assessed against the organisation's instructions, contractual obligations, financial and audit requirements, and legal retention duties. Some records may be archived or anonymised rather than immediately erased.
Service providers may process data in countries outside the user's location. We select providers and safeguards appropriate to the service and applicable obligations.
Churches may hold information about children or young people. Organisations are responsible for lawful collection, appropriate consent, limited access and safeguarding practices.
We may update this policy when the service, providers or legal requirements change. Material updates will be communicated through an appropriate product or contact channel.
